Once again, only a few issues:

  • Plot: "who had previously worked together on a case involved the murders of three clerics several years earlier." involved should be involving
  • Plot: "Black sees similarities between the murders and the methods of torture employed by the medieval Inquisition; which is confirmed when a Protestant minister is drowned in imitation of another ritual torture." I would separate these into two sentences and change 'which' to 'this'
  • Plot: "Black has constructing a profile of the man" Change to "Black constructs a profile of the man"
