I have (tried to) start posting material, but I obviously do not know how to use the site well enough. I will continue to read up and follow the guidelines better. Call it trial and error.

I have cleaned up the preservation section slightly... it read like a promotional brochure supporting the project, rather than like a encyclopedia entry. This article should not support opinions, no matter how strongly they are held.

It's pretty silly to have all of those "ors" separating the different ways of comparing mass of the metal mined ... just list the almost universally accepted standard of kg and let people who are interested do the conversions.
