Distinction regarding the end of Kiron Skinner's tenure at the State Department

[edit]

Hello,

I work with Professor Skinner, and am helping her request a small edit to the page. The page currently says she was fired from the State Department, with a strong source: a New York Times article. Her time at the State Department did indeed end on Aug. 1, 2019, but she was not fired. She served there on an Intergovernmental Personnel Act agreement and that agreement was not renewed after it expired; a small distinction, but one that is important to her.

I request that the page read "Skinner’s term at the State Department ended in August 2019."

Thanks, IPSCMU (talk) 16:12, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
