Next step
[edit]The article originally posted here was more about Kottayam District. (And it was copied word for word from some other website!) Drastic changes have been made and the current article focuses on Kottayam town.
The next step is to improve the article. Those who attempt to do it, please refrain from going into excessive details. Please understand that although you may want to list and describe every stone or tree or curve on the street as they may be important in your mind, they won't mean anything to anyone else from outside. Add just what is relevant and please be succinct. 192.30.202.18 22:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Please comment. Shekure (talk) 12:40, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- "the city became India's first municipality to achieve over 100% literacy in 1989" quite a feat, but how does a region achieve over 100% literacy? Do dogs know how to read in Kottayam? Babrahamse (talk) 21:31, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Babrahamse,
Thanks for your comment. Please correct such minor mistakes when you find them. You have an eye for details. Shekure (talk) 06:17, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Kottayam (KTYM) railway station
[edit]What does KTYM stand for? That should be expanded before being abbreviated if possible. Tripnoted (talk) 21:30, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
