Nice bio source[edit]

A lengthy bio appears at Profiles of Women in Mathematics. --KSmrq 13:47, 2005 August 19 (UTC)

Separate page for Andrzej Trybulec?[edit]

It's very gracious to mention my uncle Andrzej's connection to Mizar, but it really ought to go on his own biography page, separate from that of my mom.

I would like to stay away from promoting my relatives on these pages; someone else should start the page for my uncle. (I did edit this page for my mom, but mainly to remove some of the stuffier praise.) He was born January 29, 1941. He is married with two children. His home page has various professional information which may be of interest.

It's not so much being gracious as it is noting a fact. --CSTAR 20:40, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's gracious to recognize him for his work, and my mother for hers, is what I meant. But if so, he should have his own page. Greg Kuperberg 20:43, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why they/we moved[edit]

Again, I don't feel like adding material about this myself, but I can mention that my family emigrated to Sweden because of the Polish "anti-Zionist" campaign. It was really an anti-Semitic campaign, as the page for it explains. My dad's entire family left for various other countries. My mom's family is not Jewish, which is why all of her relatives stayed.
