Update required
[edit]The products section is out of date; lacking newly introduced products and listing discontinued/supplanted product models. (Discontinued products could still be listed, but some note should probably be made as to their status.) The products section could re-worked to discuss product groups instead of specific product models since there is now an abundance of individual products. For example, it could be categorized by power interface type — i.e., for use in lightbulb sockets or wall outlet sockets — or use the product categories LIFX themselves use — i.e., LIFX, LIFX Mini, and feature lighting.
- Lightbulb socket products:
- LIFX Mini → Color, Day & Dusk, White
- LIFX → A19, BR30, GU10, Downlight (100 mm)
- LIFX + (Plus) → A19, BR30
- Wall outlet products:
- LIFX Beam
- LIFX Tile
- LIFX Z LED Strip
- LIFX Z LED Strip Extension
Also note that the new products might not necessarily have the same general features as mentioned in the beginning of the article. For example, the statement that "all the other LIFX bulbs in the house via a low power IPv6 802.15.4 mesh network" might not hold true for newly introduced products, so it's something that needs to be considered when new products are added to this article too.
