About the andouille produced at LaPlace:

I have no doubt that Louisiana "andouille" producers are proud of their production! On the other hand, if ever connoisseurs of the "Louisiana" version want to test the French version of andouille, they risk being faced with a big surprise! The term "andouille" in France is given to a completely different type of sausage, made mainly from elements of the digestive tract of the pig! the French version also has a notable "olfactory signature" (a link to the andouille page will give other information) 129.175.61.59 (talk) 06:59, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
