I added reference details concidering articles. There is still more to come. I also red through those letters the brothers have in their own archive. The question is how to verify them into the reference section? Do I have to scan the letters? --Sireti-3 (talk) 18:02, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reply I am not sure, but if you scan them, then it may be considered original research, which is frowned upon. If you scanned them, and then a publication that passes the standard of being a reliable source were to publish them, then you could use that publication as verification. The reason behind this is, while you are surely 100% honest in your belief that these were actual documents, someone else might scan letters for a different article, and they might be bogus. We have to have the same standard for everyone here, as it is the only way to make sure stuff like that is legitimate. This is why Wikipedia wants sources to be from 3rd parties, which assumes that newspapers, etc. have done some vetting to insure they are "real". That said, there may be some of those letters that are worth scanning and putting up here or at wiki commons. I think you might need to find an admin here that has more experience before you proceed. This insures your additions are fully compliant (and will stay) and helps us gather the most information to make the article better and trustworthy to anyone who doesn't know you personally.
