Why do editors without user pages keep deleting links to non-commercial sites that let us listen to episodes of this and other old-time radio programs? Seems kind of malicious to me. Lou Sander 15:03, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's because it's "bad for business" for commercial OTR website owners like Dennis Nyhagen. He operates DigitalDeliFTP.com, a pre-PAID OTR site. For several months he has been removing all of the sites he can find from Wikipedia which offer free downloads of OTR shows. He has waged a ruthless war against free otr websites, and since Wikipedia allows anyone to edit it, it has offered Dennis Nyhagen an easy target. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:76.170.239.56 for his attempted justifications for his malicious behavior. PrinceAl 01:26, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Straight up front . . . the Jerry Haendiges Vintage Radio Logs commercial site link that is included in virtually every single OTR article within Wikipedia is THE most commercial OTR site on the Internet. The coward PrinceAl, hiding behind his anonymity continues to slander and libel a contributor to Wikipedia in bad faith, without any good faith attempt by anyone within Wikipedia to refactor his malicious, unfounded, inaccurate and reprehensible comments. This is more a reflection on the gross deterioration of Wikipedia's standards of behavior than on the discussions at issue. Enough already. This PrinceAl person has distributed his slanderous and libelous comments throughout the Wikipedia talk and discussion pages without sanctions of any kind. And of course Wikipedia continues to publish them for any and all to search for and find, without any attempt to substantiate--or fairly rebut--his unfounded claims. Shame on Wikipedia for allowing its articles to be taken over by commercial OTR interests like the famously commercial Jerry Haendiges Vintage Radio Logs which appear on virtually every single OTR article within Wikipedia. All this proves, beyond any possible ambiguity is that Wikipedia is nothing more than a commercial link farm for the powers that be within Wikipedia's special interest groups. It's a travesty. Nothing more, nothing less. Whoever's protecting PrinceAl and his ilk are as reprehensible as he is. 24.34.138.90 (talk) 03:05, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Letspret.jpg[edit]

Image:Letspret.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Arthur Anderson[edit]

It seems to me that the paragraph talking about Arthur Anderson's book turns into a mini biography of Mr Anderson. The link to his page should be sufficient. Please justify the paragraph or I will edit it.WildWildBil (talk) 01:25, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

The "Enter Nila Mack" section appears to have been badly vandalized. Someone who knows about this topic should clean it up immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CFC5:C730:3906:922A:1DA6:1534 (talk) 08:21, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
