Sorry this looks so incomplete... I decided Lidian really needed a Wikipedia biography and am hoping others will dive in. She is a very interesting lady. Kathrynklos (talk) 07:33, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I hope to work on this regularly, using diverse sources. It may seem sketchy now, but will get better over time. It seems unusual that she was into animal welfare... I haven't run into others of her time who were into that, so will need to research that a bit. I'd like this biography to say more about her than what's in Waldo's and in other places on-line. I may add additional headings to this biography and am thinking of "motherhood", "friendships", and "beliefs", and will re-arrange what is already here to fit the categories.
