Ethics

[edit]

Added header and removed the 'others think that withdrawing life support is unethical' line. I think that to include this would require an expanding paragraph.(otherwise you might as well add 'and others think it neuther ethical nor unethical' or somesuch.) This is a big topic and would be more appropriate as part of the medical ethics page-and frankly I would support moving the whole thing there. Any thoughts?Felix-felix 15:52, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Delete entire page

[edit]

I propose deleting the whole thing. Everything on this page is covered by basic life support, and all it has is a disproportionately large paragraph on the catholic church's objection to the practice. It could be removed, or added as a paragraph somewhere else.--rakkar (talk) 13:27, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

yes this page should be deleted —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.190.195 (talk) 13:31, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No this page should not be deleted. For many people the concept of what is life support is confusing and a good quality page on this issue would make it quite useful. I will do some work on this page to improve the quality. .--rhilsden (talk) 14:50, 18 Nov 2008 (UTC)
