1989 is the best selling album of the 2014. Frozen is the best selling album of the year from Dic 2013 - Dic 2014, and this doesn't represent 2014. Locked me (talk) 06:06, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"comment - Billboard's chart year runs December-November and differs from Nielsen Soundscan's, which uses the calendar year. - eo (talk) 14:23, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Best selling album of 2014

[edit]

Why isn't 1989 listed at the highest "selling" album of 2014.

I understand it's not the "No. 1" on billboard but why is frozen listed as the highest selling "soundtrack" which seems like a technicality.

Please add that Tony Bennett (at the time 88-years old) broke the record for oldest act to earn No.1 album with Cheek to Cheek. He has beaten his own record from 2011 when he was 85 years old and earn a No.1 with his album Duets II. When Lady Gaga's and Tony Bennett's collaborative album Cheek to Cheek reached No.1 in October, at the age of 88 Tony Bennett became the oldest living person to reach No.1 spot on Billboard 200. Bennett extended his own record previously set in 2011 when his album Duets II debuted at No.1. [1]
