Spammed[edit]

This page needs cleaned up severely. A ton of parts that should say Blue say Littlefoot. what? Because of this, it took me forever to find a simple episode. Can someone help?--173.71.176.27 (talk) 04:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{editsemiprotected}} Put it back to 10/16/00! and Unprotect List of Blue's Clues episodes?

207.69.139.155 (talk) 21:01, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note the IP above is another sock of the blocked IPs 207.69.139.144, 209.86.226.23, 209.86.226.50, 207.69.140.22, 207.69.139.147 and 209.86.226.24. I have no idea if he's actually right this time, but virtually all of the edits by these IPs have been vandalism. A token Google search didn't turn up any info at all regarding an air date for this episode, so unless somebody can produce a source, it probably should stay as it is. Majorclanger (talk) 21:10, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think 4.226.111.79 comes from the socks mentioned above because he left a message for the Blue's Big Costume Party airdate, and he threatened me that if I changed back to 10/31/00 I would be protected. He's not even an admin. He also lied about MuZemike putting the Our Neighborhood Festival is a prime-time special stuff up and him putting the June 2010 edit thing on my talkpage. Also, he tried to protect me from editing. 24.44.119.71 (talk) 12:52, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And I found another one: 4.226.228.232. He's the same person as the people you [Majorclanger] and me mentioned! 24.44.119.71 (talk) 20:53, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And he uses the question mark at the end of most of his sentences anyways. 24.44.119.71 (talk) 20:55, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems[edit]

I have begun a new table. However, there are many problems. Others have mangled the article, and I can't fix it all right away. Can someone help? And there are errors I cannot fix. 68.100.116.118 (talk) 00:38, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unverifiable[edit]

I am fed up with this article hoarding heaps unreferenced stuff that may or may not be even slightly true. I propose to remove the entire Videos section and rename the article to List of Blue's Clues episodes unless anybody can provide a source to demonstrate that the Videos section is based on anything real and can be reliably referenced to, and kept in line with, that reality. This has gone on way too long. --DanielRigal (talk) 01:27, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I think it is time to put an end to this nonsense. The article was originally called "List of Blue's Clues episodes". The user who moved it to "List of Blue's Clues episodes, videos" is blocked indefinitely for sockpuppetry. I see no reason not to move it back. Oh, and I deleted the alleged "videos" completely. I still see no way to get truly RS references on this but I believe the links to things like IMDB when they say that this had 6 series and maybe just a couple of extras. I think that is where its history ends. I think that anything claimed after that most likely only exists only in the imaginations of a few of the fans who are editing here in line with their fantasies. This needs to stop! Sure, there are some discontinued TV programmes I would love to see new episodes of but making up nonsense and putting it in Wikipedia isn't going to make that happen. --DanielRigal (talk) 00:28, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Next problem: Possible copyright violation[edit]

On the plus side this is looking a lot better than it did. On the downside, where did those episode descriptions come from? Did we write them ourselves? They certainly turn up elsewhere? Lets take this fragment of the episode two description: "On the way we help our friend Tickety Tock put herself back together" and search Google for it. This gets 52 exact hits. Some may be copying us but it seems very unlikely that iTunes, VUDU and Walmart are copying this off us. So we have a plagiarism issue. As the descriptions are not in a tone appropriate to an encyclopaedia anyway, I think the best thing is just to remove them. --DanielRigal (talk) 10:49, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Done. (I normally avoid Visual Edit but for removing the columns it was really useful.) --DanielRigal (talk) 10:55, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Airdates[edit]

OK.I'm going to be bold and say that the episode airdates are unverifiable and a source on ongoing unedifying nuisance so I'm going to just remove the whole column. I recognise the good faith of the editor who tried to source it to a TV Guide. That's a fair idea but unfortunately it only shows when a show aired without absolute proof that it is the first time on any channel. At least some of the rest of the people fiddling the dates seem to be pulling numbers out of places that numbers should naturally come from. I think we are better off without any of this drama. The series dates are quite good enough for the readers to know the timeframe of this show. --DanielRigal (talk) 19:31, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Right. That's done now. If anybody wants the dates back then they need to find a reliable reference for them and put that on the "Airdate" column headers. If that can be done then the dates can be defended against random changes. --DanielRigal (talk) 19:38, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hide & Seek?[edit]

Is the hide-and-seek episode from season 2 or season 3. Ssjhowarthisawesome (talk) 22:34, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unverifiable[edit]

I have removed the airdates again as they were being fiddled with and are 100% unverifiable. They can be added back if sourced but only if properly sourced. --DanielRigal (talk) 22:04, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Season 7?[edit]

I fInd it hard to believe that the two 2006 episodes were in a season of their own. I mean, what are the chances of there being a season with only 2 episodes for this show? How do we know that they aren't part of season 6? I'm not saying that they aren't their own season, they very well could be, I'm just wondering if we know for sure that there was a season 7. Dpm12 (talk) 22:55, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. What is the correct name here? "Specials"? If so, lets just change it to that. --DanielRigal (talk) 13:49, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think categorizing them under "Specials" is necessary, they're likely part of season 6. I think it's probably best to put them under "season 6" for the time being until we can confirm for sure that they were a season of their own. Dpm12 (talk) 07:25, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Writer/director of "10 Years of Blue" special?[edit]

I can't seem to find any information on the web, and there is currently an edit war involving this on the article. Dpm12 (talk) 01:48, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure about any current edit war but it does get a lot of disruptive editing in which details are changed back and forth without references and there are insufficient existing references to verify anything much. I have tagged it for refimprove. If there are alleged episodes that completely fail verification (as in you can't even find any semi-plausible non-RS mentions) then they can safely be removed. --DanielRigal (talk) 01:51, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unaired Steve episodes aired August 1, 2006[edit]

According to this source: [1], on August 1, 2006, Nick Jr. debuted two never-before-seen episodes, featuring original host, Steve. Could anyone figure out which episode those were? Dpm12 (talk) 05:07, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Editing problems[edit]

I just spent three hours having to revert unsourced edits to the dates and episode count from 10 days ago, and deletion of references, that I just spent last month fixing. Dpm12 (talk) 22:34, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seasons 4 and 6[edit]

Blue's School and Something to Do Blue are part of Season 4 and aired in early 2002, not Season 6. Rhyme Time and Puppets aired in early 2002, not 2003. These later air dates are most likely repeats or someone got confused with another country or what ever site you got them from is wrong. YouDontKnowSponge (talk) 15:27, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

According to Nick Jr., The New York Times, Amazon Instant Video, and iTunes, those episodes aired on August 1, 2006, NOT in 2002 Dpm12 (talk) 02:16, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And The Tucson Citizen: http://tucsoncitizen.com/morgue/2006/07/25/20159-turns-out-blue-s-clues-creator-barking-up-the-right-tree/

Dpm12 (talk) 02:17, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Still should be listed in Season 4 as those episodes were produced during the fourth season even if they aired later. Also, have you made sure the Season 4 episodes claimed to be aired in 2003 aren't Noggin premiers? YouDontKnowSponge (talk) 02:40, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What to rely on to really make the page accurate[edit]

The Blue's Clues VHS promo for the first two tapes said that "What Story Does Blue Want to Play?" would air on October 9, 1998 while iTunes and Amazon Video say November. Which should we rely more on to really make the page accurate?
