please explain edit of 08:34, 1 February 2012

[edit]

Prior to this edit, a lot of text had been rewritten to be more NPOV and better explain Bose jargon. This edit undoes all these changes. Also, please consider that intent of the restructure was to group the products by functionality, rather than Bose's choice of groupings (which would make less sense to the average reader). 1292simon (talk) 07:49, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please see your talk page. -- Phoenix (talk) 11:21, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Noted. Your justification for this page needs to be more specific. Please discuss specifics on this Talk page before reverting again.1292simon (talk) 07:13, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix edit summary "the orginization doesnt make sense". It is based on organising the products by model, thus skipping Bose's own product categories. Since many readers are unlikely to be familiar with Bose's categories, this makes more sense.1292simon (talk) 22:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix edit summary "the info on soundlink is wrong". Please be more specific. Note that little content is new, most has just been rewritten to reduce marketing tone.1292simon (talk) 22:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix edit summary "text about red dot is included in wrong system". Cool, thanks for picking that up. Note, the product design award link doesn't support the text (it goes to an empty page, so this text has been removed.1292simon (talk) 22:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

revert from 23:03, 11 March 2012

[edit]

I have explained the reasoning behind the edits at the top of this page, even if "sourced information" has been "removed", it does not justify you trashing these justified edits just for this vague comment. Please be specific about the information which has been removed 1292simon (talk) 08:40, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do not agree that these were justified edits. The placement of the products is illogical and the removal of vast swaths of text seams to be done just to make the article as small as possible. Please realize that you are talking as if this is the way the article has been for a long time when you made many edits. There is no reason that you shouldn't work with me on the talk page. Please work with me on the talk page. -- Phoenix (talk) 09:20, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Phoenix, I AM trying to collaborate, please be more specific (eg how is the placement of the products illogical? what notable text has been removed?). It is not my intention to remove notable info, but "TLDR" is a factor so I value concise articles. I don't understand what you mean about the "long time" thing, but anyway WP does not favour edits based on how long they have stood for.1292simon (talk)
