Why do most of the episode descriptions end mostly in questions? I don't think that it's appropriate to have 'cliff-hangers' in encyclopaedic entries.Terminal Shift (talk) 11:46, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Seconded. It's highly inappropriate, I actually came here to see if there was discussion on this already. Can anyone give a reason for this? --MooNFisH (talk) 09:58, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Same. Don't see why it shouldn't be flagged for editing, this isn't a preview, its a summary. Summaries should be straight to the point, not beating about the bush and more neutral in tone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.14.221.127 (talk) 20:46, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Just a thought but aren't the descriptions of what happens in each episode? If they end if cliff hangers then I don't see why the descriptions shouldn't also. Removing parts of somethings description that doesn't suit the encyclopaedic tone defeats the purpose of having the descriptions.

As previously discussed these are episode 'summaries' and not 'previews'. Content in these entries should 'summarize' the episodes, without personal input in which question the story plot to create a cliff-hanger. Your thoughts have no valid reasoning. —DerickChan (talk) 12:35, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Season 3

this new arc is a new season in the anime, so i believe episode 96 foward is a new season — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.137.232.202 (talk) 08:47, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

English airdate

Why was it removed?? answer quick... --117.198.158.9 (talk) 11:16, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Season 2/3 split

I seriously believe now is the time to create a "Season 3" section. It's been said that the third year would start with the Tenrou Island arc in September, which essentially began with episode 97. However, the latest episode (episode 99) has aired with a new opening and ending. So if we were to create a new section, which episode would it begin with: 97 or 99? Possible split?

A split discussion was held, the result was to split into individual lists along breaks in-between seasons. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 22:48, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

All right. I am considering a possible split of the episode lists into individual articles and make this a list article. I feel that each article should have coverage of episodes as well, since it is an ongoing series (see List of Naruto: Shippuden episodes and List of One Piece episodes for inspirations). Any comments or objections? Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:49, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Sure just as long as you add links to each season's episode list on this page. But why not just do it like THIS?? --Packinheat2u (talk) 18:35, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

That could also do the work. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:00, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
What were these season divisions based on? From a quick skim, it looks like they were split based on fan preferences to the story. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 22:50, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Here are the sources that confirm the breaks in-between seasons: [1], [2]. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:29, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
I guess it's acceptable. I looked deeper into it and animax seems to agree on where the second season begins. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 00:17, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
It looks pretty good. It's in the same way that Gin Tama's and D.Gray-man's seasons are arranged.Tintor2 (talk) 02:05, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
I agree to split the episodes of the article into multiple articles. However, please keep them short and simple for the readers.--Bumblezellio (talk) 10:25, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

I have tried to make the split of series 3. Unfortunately, it proved more difficult than I thought. It was not helped by someone trying to speedily delete the new article, while I was still carrying out the split. If it survives and the dust settles then I will have another lok in say a couple of days. If it doesn't sort itself out then at least I tried. Op47 (talk) 18:19, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

No problem. I have helped expanded the article with information from my sandbox. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 01:05, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

'American Air Date'

Isn't that a little too specific? It should be English Air Date, broadly speaking. Besides that, some of the few dates already there are wrong I believe, considering the dub is past 45 episodes or so now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.59.211.68 (talk) 09:37, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

No, you're wrong, it's fine how it is. Only a select number of episodes of the dub of Fairy Tail have been shown in the Funimation Channel in the US. Then the entire first season of FT was dubbed by Funimation and released on DVD and Blu-Ray for North America.--Packinheat2u (talk) 21:57, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

There was an English Air Date set before about 2 years ago. The series were licensed by Animax Asia, which began airing the series with a Hong Kong-based English dub on September 30, 2010, as stated in the Fairy Tail article. Why was it replaced by American Air Date?--Bumblezellio (talk) 10:30, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

The schedule for the English airdates originally used as a source for the air dates has been updated and unfortunately does not include the original air dates as of July 2012. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 22:10, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

I had reason to believe that the season 3 summaries in this article had been copied from this site [[3]]. On further investigation, I found that that the alleged source site contained the following edit [[4]]. This means Fairytaleonlinetv.com must have copied from Wikipedia raher than the other way round. Op47 (talk) 16:52, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, does that seem like a problem here? Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 01:04, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Season 4?

Judging from the preview, episode 151 of the anime, "Sabertooth", is set to return to the manga's plot. Would this be a good time to create a page for a new season? User:Immblueversion (talk) 02:56, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I think it would be appropriate to create a page for this matter. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:30, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
