Airdate information

[edit]

Okay, I think we need to have a discussion about adding airdates. Per the official website, it states that DxD airs every Saturday starting April 4, so we should use that as a general reference for the original airdates for the three seasons when adding future airdates. However, in the event of a holiday or emergency, we should use the AT-X schedule as a reference if its necessary. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:04, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, that's the plan. We will need to snapshot any deviations from the schedule as with List of Attack on Titan episodes. Note how there the English version skipped a week midway through and also skipped the recap episode, otherwise assuming it ran weekly was fine. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 23:28, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
According the the last RFC at the Village Pump over the inclusion of future air dates, if you don't have a source that directly states the date, the date cannot be included under both the WP:V and WP:NOR policies. —Farix (t | c) 09:27, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so on the future dates, we should take AT-X snapshots. As of today 4/24 they have the programming filled up to 4/30. The column for May 1 is not filled in yet so when it is, then it can be snapped and added to the guide. What about on the past dates? Those are a lot tougher to get. I think we may need to add hidden information regarding the episodes until the appropriate sources (i.e. general references) are made available so we can reveal the information as well (such as what happened on the List of Dragon Ball Z Kai episodes, for example). In general, all air dates need to be sourced at some point. We just don't worry so much about past air dates as we do about future dates because they already happened and are not subject to change. I'm not sure how frequently the Media Art's Database is going to be updated, but it is always going to lag behind by at least several months. —Farix (t | c) 20:21, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, since the AT-X source won't last long, I'm thinking we may need to find another reliable source with a longer lifespan if its necessary. Any ideas? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 05:22, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Split into individual articles?

[edit]

I think it's possible if we can split the episode lists into individual articles: List of High School DxD episodes (season 1), List of High School DxD New episodes and List of High School DxD BorN episodes per WP:SPINOFF. I believe the lists are large enough to have their own articles. Any thoughts or objections? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:05, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
