Lipizzan

Except for the fact that the town of Lipica was a part of Italy between World War I and World War II, a brief period of time long after the emergence of the Lipizzan, what connection does the breed have with Italy? When the stud farm was established, the village was in the Hapsburg Empire, and it's now in Slovenia. 89.164.223.12 (talk) 21:43, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
