What constitutes an endorsement for Wikipedia's purposes[edit]

As a reminder, the following criteria are in effect for endorsements on this and similar lists.

There is consensus among participating editors that endorsements from an individual must meet all three of the following criteria for inclusion on a list of endorsements:

  1. The endorser must have an article or be unquestionably entitled to one
  2. This endorsement must be covered by reliable and independent sources
  3. Coverage of the endorsement needs to use the word endorse, or other closely related synonym.

Too much reliance on Elle magazine, a dubious primary source[edit]

As much as I'd love to think Pete has endorsements from the likes of Jennifer Aniston, I'm afraid I've had to add a primary source tag to the "Actors and artists" section, because at least half of the endorsements listed are taken from a single Elle magazine online article, which itself lists no sources. The only people proven to have given an endorsement to Pete on this list are currently Robert De Niro, Kevin Costner and Mandy Moore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gregoryjames (talk • contribs) 21:01, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
