Refocus article
[edit]I propose to refocus this article much like List of roller coaster rankings so that it could include information wider than just attendance. The new title would be List of amusement park rankings and it would feature:
- the amusement park rankings section from the other article
- park-related Golden Ticket Awards such as Best Park, Best Water Park etc
Thoughts? Themeparkgc Talk 02:32, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
- I support this idea.--Astros4477 (talk) 02:38, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
- Partly done I have moved the content from the other article here and moved this article. I will add some Golden Ticket Awards later. Themeparkgc Talk 23:45, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
- Do you think we should remove the 2008 column to keep it just the recent three years? It'll just keep getting longer but I could see keeping them if it helps the article..--Astros4477 (talk) 00:08, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- That's probably a good idea. Before you do that though, could we merge some of the statistics into the main articles about the parks? E.g. for Magic Kingdom you would have something like:
2008 2009 2010 2011 Worldwide rank 17,063,000 17,233,000 16,972,000 17,142,000 1
- Alternatively, you could have it on company pages. E.g. for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts:
Park 2008 2009 2010 2011 Worldwide rank Magic Kingdom 17,063,000 17,233,000 16,972,000 17,142,000 1 Disneyland 14,721,000 15,900,000 15,980,000 16,140,000 2 Tokyo Disneyland 14,293,000 13,646,000 14,452,000 13,996,000 3 Tokyo DisneySea 12,498,000 12,004,000 12,663,000 11,930,000 4 Disneyland Park (Paris) 12,688,000 12,740,000 10,500,000 10,990,000 5 Epcot 10,935,000 10,990,000 10,825,000 10,825,000 6 Disney's Animal Kingdom 9,540,000 9,590,000 9,686,000 9,783,000 7 Disney's Hollywood Studios 9,608,000 9,700,000 9,603,000 9,699,000 8 etc Walt Disney Parks & Resorts 118,000,000 119,100,000 120,600,000 121,400,000 1
- Thoughts? Themeparkgc Talk 01:20, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
- Ya that's a good idea. I've been wanting to add something similar to that to the Cedar Point article for some time but I've never gotten around to it.--Astros4477 (talk) 01:43, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
I think we should only have the top 10 parks for each table to keep it consistent. What do you think?--Astros4477 (talk) 22:38, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
I'm going to start adding the attendance charts to the articles. This may take a while and I'm going to do it in groups. It's a busy week with Thanksgiving and stuff so I'll try to get as much done when I can.--Astros4477 (talk) 02:58, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Water Parks
[edit]Why are the Bahamas listed as being part of Latin America instead of North America? And why is the Middle East lumped together with Europe instead of Asia? 2601:346:C201:60C0:2C79:74D8:6C5A:AEF4 (talk) 17:55, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
Table rankings
[edit]The table rankings for the list of parks with most coasters appears to have been vandalised to a ridiculous degree. It's making my eyes hurt, so can someone with better table editing knowledge than me please fix it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AidenTEM (talk • contribs) 22:46, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

2021 updates?
[edit]It's now 2022 -- why is there still no data representing 2020? Even if it was a slow year, the info still exists somewhere. How do you flag an article for more attention? 2601:346:C201:60C0:B46C:7F6B:4679:41A9 (talk) 00:22, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
