Special protective resemblance
[edit]I remember reading somewhere that fake trees were employed by snipers during World War I. Would this not be an example of special protective resemblance in military usage? — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 13:43, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
- See Camouflage#First_World_War. Poulton does not talk about the military, but it seems a reasonable inference that he would have agreed. I'll put a tree observation post in the list. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:56, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
