I renamed the page, again, to put it in line with Wikipedia's capitalization conventions. See MOS:CAPS. QuixoticKate (talk) 15:00, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This list is quite small, maybe there should be added some more countries like around ten more, including countries like Norway, Denmark and so on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.108.208.23 (talk) 07:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I do not understand the purpose of this page...its makes no sense. I have read through the links but still cant ee a purpose for it. Suggestion deletion. 81.132.131.88 (talk) 21:50, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have a serious problem with the list. The information is pretty much cut and paste. And, when you look deeper into the source, it is almost anonymous. This should not be allowed on Wikipedia. Needs to be deleted. 69.150.96.6 (talk) 12:43, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I declined to delete it--it presumably needs updating and improvement, not deletion--expert attention suggested. DGG (talk) 23:43, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correction[edit]

This data is very vague in sources. For the US, I used Census data and divided household income by number of people per household.

National Accounts data should be used, since it is standardised.

lnea001.

I will totally revise this page with official National Accounts data when I have the time.

Redirecting to List of countries by average wage[edit]

Somebody appears to have been redirecting the article to List of countries by average wage and I think that's the way to go with this particular article, mainly because it violates WP:Verifiability by using an unreliable, crowed sourced reference that hasn't been updated in a decade. The source has never been cited in the academia. Per capita personal income and average wage is the same concept. It's about how much money one earns. It can be called salary or wage. People have put in statistics ranging from the year 2004 to 2013 making comparison impossible and highly misleading. Yet, List of countries by average wage has the exact same concept published by one highly authoritative source in this field, namely the OECD and ILO.
