' Approximately 12 million people visit Notre-Dame annually, making it the most visited monument in Paris ' and not in the list!? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.233.157.34 (talk) 09:18, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- La Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre, is the second most visited monument in Paris with 11 million / year https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilique_du_Sacr%C3%A9-C%C5%93ur_de_Montmartre

Please, monuments and palaces only[edit]

Please put only palaces and national historic monuments on this list. Museums have a separate list (two in fact, one for museums and one for art museums) and it doesn't make sense to have a third list with the same sites. Same with churches, unless they have a reliable way to count visitors. Otherwise this list will be much to long and not very useful. Thank you! SiefkinDR (talk) 21:16, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Church or no church?![edit]

"This is a list of the most visited national monuments, including palaces, historical monuments and historic sites. It does not include churches..." But you have St. Peter's Basilica in second place and your entry for that states: The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican... is a church of the Italian High Renaissance. 2001:818:DBE0:EC00:CC7D:FE7F:A740:778D (talk) 18:34, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
