Descriptions?

[edit]

I want to get people's views on this - should we limit each entry to just its title or should we allow descriptions to be posted of each? I'm for the former since it makes for less clutter. Antony-22 22:56, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Link?

[edit]

I wonder if a link could be added to 'The Next Big Thing' discussion on Nanotechnology? http://www.vega.org.uk/video/programme/3 The video is available to watch without charge from the Vega Science Trust's website (a charity set up by Sir Harold Kroto to promote science). There was a link previously and the Trust received quite a lot of viewers via this wiki page. The programme was made by the BBC in collaboration with the Trust and features scientists in the field discussing Nanotechnology. (Vegasciencetrust 18:38, 11 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

[edit]

A related AfD brought me here. I believe, due to WP:LINKFARM, that only those organizations that have articles here be kept in the list. I'd also prefer to keep the academic journals though I don't have a policy-based reason for that (more it's useful and isn't as SPAMMY in my opinion). Thoughts? This article looks like a list of nonnotable organisations. Should we really have this many redlinks? - David Gerard (talk) 07:46, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
