Why is there no mention of

[edit]

Mundra port/Adani Ports & SEZ Limited? It is India's largest port by cargo handled since 2014, with over 100 million tonnes of cargo handled. Anir1uph | talk | contrib 11:34, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Only Ports owned by Union Government are called Major Ports . So eventhough Mundra Port handles a lot of cargo, it is not considered major . Didduta | talk | contrib 02:39, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Then, it (ONLY Govt owned port) should be clearly specified in this article just before the table. Otherwise, currently it is quiet misleading. For example, there is no mentioned of the Mundra and Pipavav ports. Amit Upadhyay 11:44, 29 March 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qx2020 (talkcontribs)

Upgradation of the article

The page shows data of the year 2017. Kindly upgrade all the data Bishalkumarr (talk) 02:14, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To remove the file from the article.

[edit]

If this article is about the ports developed by government of India, then why is added in the ==Cargo Handed== section. The Kollam Port is not a Port developed by Government of India. It is developed by state government of Kerala. Bishalkumarr (talk) 05:41, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the article name.

[edit]

The article name should be changed to Government woned ports in India or if not then add information about other private ports in India to this article. Bishalkumarr (talk) 05:52, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
