Chimneys missing

[edit]

Are or were there no large chimnies in Liverpool? I believe yes, as Liverpool is an industrial town. Please add them!

I have searched the likes of Emporis, Skyscraper Page and Skyscraper News which have huge in depth databases of tall buildings and structures worldwide, and unfortunately I cannot find any sourceable information about tall chimneys in Liverpool. It is likey the vast majority will have been destroyed, but I will continue to search for some. Stevvvv4444 (talk) 15:44, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tallest Building in Liverpool Urban Area

[edit]

I noticed that despite St Helens being part of the Liverpool Urban area, it's buildings have been omitted from the list The Former Pilkingtons Headquarters is one of these and the following page states the main tower is 170ft tall https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1259806?section=official-list-entry

i can't find any official heights of the many even taller factories but will keep looking 2A0A:EF40:28E:9E01:E028:59C4:E68F:225B (talk) 04:53, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
