With or without songs?

[edit]

@Pickette: Both the first two programme descriptions say it’s entrants with songs, but the cited rules seem to say it’s entrants singing authors’ songs. Confusing! --☸ Moilleadóir 12:50, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Moilleadóir: Their selections are always a mess. According this LRT article, the first two shows featured artists that applied with songs and then the subsequent two shows will feature those that were without songs and had to be matched with a song. If you look at the artists that took part in the first two shows, a lot of them have also written their own songs so it seems in line with what this article states.
