Sino-French War
[edit]I've overwritten the collection of inaccurate and unsourced anecdotes that purported to describe Liu Mingchuan's career in the Sino-French War, and will attempt in the next few days to replace it with an account that bears a greater resemblance to the truth. I've only got as far as October 1884 so far, and will need to add several more paragraphs. This will therefore be a work in progress. Anybody who would like to speed this process by extracting sourced sentences from the articles Sino-French War and Keelung Campaign and pasting them in would be more than welcome to do so, as far as I am concerned.
