A Cardiff to Shrewsbury train? (Picture caption.) Swansea to Shrewsbury, surely? --John Stumbles 13:13, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The train leaves Cardiff at 8.09 on Mondays - Saturdays and reaches Llan'dod at 11.36 on its way to Shrewsbury. I know, I was ON that train and I caught it it at Neath... :)
It is scheduled to continue running in those timings until at least mid-December 2007. -- Picapica 13:33, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
PS - I see my camera clock was still on GMT, as well as the calendar being wrongly set! -- Picapica 13:34, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious - Additional Services

[edit]

The article suggests an increase in service frequency to six trains per day is planned for the near future. However, the Welsh Government only mention proposals for 5 trains a day, which will not be introduced until 2015 at the very earliest (see: http://wales.gov.uk/topics/transport/rail/projects/existing/heartofwalesline/?lang=en). I don't consider 2015 to be 'near-future', although that is relative. Rhydgaled (talk) 23:18, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
