You have a good amount of sources and everything within the article is sourced nicely. I think you cover the arrest and lynching of David Wyatt well, however, I think that the background section and the implications section could be filled with more information. I also think that the implication section should be renamed to aftermath. Klayk (talk) 20:08, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I really like your organisation and structure, and think that your references are great. I think perhaps some more background would help to set the tone of the article a bit more. Nicoleelkins (talk) 20:30, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your formatting is a little different than of some articles I have seen, but that is not a bad thing. If you add a clear introductory paragraph your article would be more complete. IndigoSpranger (talk) 03:29, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Great article! Despite having few secondary (and primary) sources relating to many incidents of lynching, I think you're draft article makes good use of the scholarly source at your disposal. Moreover, the article, in my view, meets Wikipedia's notability standards. The article is well-organized and concise. Consider expanding the implications section to include the information about the history of lynching in the U.S. and some of the principle actors who campaigned against lynching (Ida B. wells, etc.)Goldsteinmj (talk) 20:59, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think that an introduction would be greatly beneficial to your article, as you never actually state Wyatt's first name and, in a sense, throw your reader directly into the background without having any notion of what the background is really in relation to. Also, it seems like there is some information that needs to be cited, as there's no way that it didn't come from a source. Moreover, the formatting could be a little more clear; for example, "Arrest of David Wyatt" and "Capture and Lynching" sound rather similar, because arrest and capture are somewhat synonymous. Seems like it will be a very good article though! Haassr (talk) 22:14, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This topic is not something with a ton of information, but adding a bit more detail or info would be helpful. You definitely have plenty of sources, all of which most likely meet the notability requirements. Also, adding a small intro/summary to the top of the page would be a good idea too. Overall, it is a really well-written article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jennifer.cerer (talkcontribs) 02:50, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
