Just thought I'd give a "hold on" in response to the "notability" tag on this article. This was among the first albums (if not the first) on the then-resurrected Blue Note Records. Being in the Blue Note catalog at any time is probably sufficient to establish notability. The personnel includes a number of notable musicians. I suspect it made a notable appearance on the jazz charts though I'm unable to cite a source to that effect.
