Bastion Point[edit]

In regards to Bastion point, that paragraph hardly constitutes neutrality. There may be a small threat to the surfing area, however proper boating facilities are desperately needed. It's only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed by an boat coming to shore. Many residents would know that there have been some very close calls over the past. Whoever created the paragraph may which to reconsider what they've contributed. Mksce 01:20, 29 December 2006 (UTC) mksce[reply]

I attempted some time ago to remove the POV of the original paragraph added by user 202.76.131.2. I've now added a reference and removed the sentence about the size and location of the groyne, as it seemed to be incorrect.Sfaiku 12:40, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I still think that it needs to be cleaned up a little. It's hard to determine how much the surfing spot is actually "under threat". I still think that the basis of the proposal needs to be considered. Mksce 10:48, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Having surfed, swum, fished & boated all at Bastion Point i find it to be an extremely safe area, i am also not local but have holidayed in Mallacoota for 20yrs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.130.3.10 (talk) 10:22, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2019-2020 bushfires section[edit]

Both HiLo48 and I have attempted to improve this section. It appears to be written from personal experience with a degree of bias against the way that emergency services handled the developing situation, and without any references. It is an important section, but needs to be moderated and cited, as well as the style standardised and further improved. --Scott Davis Talk 12:51, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
