Cultural significance

A recent article in PopBitch suggests that Maps may be one of the most influential songs of the last decade. This is a rather hyperbolic assertion, and from a source which, currently, doesn't really constitute a reputable source: however, given that the report appears pretty well-researched, this page would benefit from a (well-sourced) section covering the song's influence.
