[edit]The deletion of this article should not have occurred. The reason given for its deletion by the bot was that I had exactly copied two whole paragraphs from elsewhere. It's a fairly simple matter to prove that the accusation is false. --wayland 15:34, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Marjorie Franklin. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110720000520/http://lbs.mit.edu/reviews/may2004/art_mosher.html to http://lbs.mit.edu/reviews/may2004/art_mosher.html

Notability
[edit]@Vexations: — Hi. In your recent edit summary on the page, you say rather sarcastically: "Unclear notability is not made clearer by deletion". Sure! Your moniker invites me to assume you meant that tongue in cheek, does it not? More importantly and seriously, do you really think Marjorie Franklin is notable and that the page provides enough material to prove it? I really don't and in fact I still do find her lack of notability quite uncontroversial. Also, allow me to invite you to add the reason you mentioned for your DEPROD inside the OldProd template on this talk page (as shown here), if you please. Thank you.Joe McNeill (talk) 17:03, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- Joe McNeill, I was not trying to be sarcastic, nor is my username an invitation to assume anything about me. To answer your question
do you really think Marjorie Franklin is notable and that the page provides enough material to prove it
I think she may be, but the sourcing needs improvement. I've added a source prior to your PROD and I suspect there may be more. I have not yet conducted an extensive search for sources. Note that article content does not determine notability. If you brought it to AfD, and did WP:BEFORE I might agree with you that the subject fails the WP:GNG and WP:NARTIST and WP:PROF, but not until I've taken a much better look at sources. Vexations (talk) 23:14, 9 November 2020 (UTC)- @Vexations: — I apologize for my comment on your nickname. Thank you for your reply. I might take this page to AfD in a little while then.--Joe McNeill (talk) 19:49, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
