If major league players rate articles, I'd think that umpires would as well. They don't just pick these folks out of the school for the blind at random... Rklawton 04:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd buy that...but the article could use some expansion. Did he call anything notable? Why isn't he still in the bigs? Inquiring minds want to know... -- Scientizzle 04:51, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Best guess is widespread complaints about his skill; most of the articles I've found (from his last season) seem to feature criticism from both teams involved [1] [2] [3] [4]. MisfitToys 21:09, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just to be fair, any articles you find about most umpires/referees/officials are going to be negative about their performance. "The umpire called a good game" is never going to be a story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ags412 (talkcontribs) 18:32, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been kept (no consensus) following this AFD debate. Sjakkalle (Check!) 12:48, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
