Matt ZimmermanMatt Zimmerman (actor) — To distinguish from Matt Zimmerman (technologist), neither person obviously has any exclusive rights to the name! 85.77.179.98 (talk) 07:35, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. No, neither person has "exclusive rights to the name", and in the absence of evidence that users are more likely to look up one of these people than the other, I'm indifferent about which one is located at Matt Zimmerman. But if the page is moved, then anyone who searches for "Matt Zimmerman" seeking either of these people will have to go through a disambiguation page. Under the current set-up, people looking for the actor are taken directly to the right article, and only people looking for the technologist are inconvenienced by having to click through an extra page. It's a question of inconveniencing some people vs. inconveniencing all people. Propaniac (talk) 16:35, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose of course neither person has exclusive rights to the name, but that is not a valid reason for a move like this, see WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Going by the information in the 2 articles, the margin may not be very great, but I think the actor is more notable. PatGallacher (talk) 18:35, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Hello,

Is it possible that we could have the "Birth date" and "Death date and age" sections to have the "Date first=yes" setting, please. Matt Zimmerman was Canadian and the dates do not match for this country.

Thank you. User:Jack M E 01 (talk) 21:40, 12 June 2022 (GMT)
