Son of Megacles III
[edit]I thought the son of Megacles III and Agariste (the daughter of Cleisthenes of Sicyon) was Cleisthenes, not another Megacles.

- You're right, this is an error. There seems to be some confusion among the different personages. I have added a family tree over at Alcmaeonidae to try and clear up some of the confusion. Alcmaeonid 19:08, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
William Smith
[edit]Excuse my ignorance, but who is quoted William Smith? --151.50.186.2 (talk) 15:23, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- This guy, who wrote the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology. Adam Bishop (talk) 15:33, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Correction: Pythian 7
[edit]I believe Megacles is honoured in Pindar's Pythian 7, not 11 as stated on the page here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.112.215.104 (talk) 13:12, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
