Prod[edit]

I've removed the prod. I agree that notability is still on the lower end of the scale, but in my opinion it stacks up (just). I suppose that when the article was created, it looked rather likely that she'd be joining Parliament soon (Anderton winning the mayoralty, triggering a by-election in Wigram which is so definitely left-leaning that Anderton's endorsement would have been good enough to ensure her success). However, things have since turned out differently, and she'll have to wait to have a crack at the 2011 general election. So given her political history so far, which I've tried to document, and the amount of media coverage that she's been getting, I'd suggest that we leave the article. If anybody still feels that this should go to AfD, then don't hold back and we'll go through the motions. Schwede66 08:39, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Progressives[edit]

Says she was a member of the Progressive Party 1999-2007, but the Progressives weren't founded until 2002. Maybe she was Alliance from 1999 to 2002? Kiwichris (talk) 11:36, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
