{{edit semi-protected}} He was investigated by the Maryland Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics for violating ethics standards by requiring his staff to use governmental resources for non-governmental work and campaign activities. As the investigation was completed after his term of office had ended, the committee no longer had jurisdiction over his activities so had no choice but to dismiss the complaint.Orchard4209 (talk) 21:16, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
