Description on the ambiguity page
[edit]On the ambiguity page it is requested that comments about Michael Harrington are made here, so this is where I make an observation. But first of all I would like to explain my interest. I am an European who is reading up on poverty and wellfare in the United States of America. The Other America by Michael Harrington was recommended to me. So I looked up Michael Harrington in Wikipedia. The lead in his article states:
Edward Michael Harrington Jr. (February 24, 1928 – July 31, 1989) was an American democratic socialist, writer, author of The Other America, political activist, political theorist, professor of political science, radio commentator and founding member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Whereas the ambiguity page states:
Michael Harrington was an American socialist leader.
Is this doing Harrington justice? I feel that at least political theorist should be added. Maybe something like this: Michael Harrington was an American writer and broadcaster as well as a political activist and theorist.
