Mirette
[edit]André Messager's opera Mirette was newly written for the Savoy Theatre in 1894. Since Michel Carré died in 1872, and there is apparently no record of a previous work by him by that name, it seems reasonable (hah!) to assign the responsibility to his son, Michel-Antoine Carré.
