Owen's gaffe wasn't a passed ball; it was scored an error according to the custom of the day.

I was afraid of this: someone changed "error," to "mistake," which is correct enough, though imprecise. Keep watching: I predict that it'll be a "passed ball" again before long. WHPratt (talk) 17:44, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
