The Lusitania[edit]

"...scuttled in shallow water (20m) just off Miller's Point and the SS Lusitania (which lies in deeper water at Bellows Rock near Cape Point [South Africa] after running aground there in 1911)".
This rather sensational statement appears in the last paragraph. I say 'sensational' because until I read the article, I and many others, have always been under the impression that the Lusitania was sunk off the west coast of Ireland in 1915, not "running aground there [at Bellows Rock] in 1911". (my square brackets)
Or were there two Lusitanias?
Now that would be sensational!
No wonder the sentence has been tagged as 'dubious'.

There are multiple ships named Lusitania. See Lusitania (disambiguation)
This one is Lusitania, (built 1906) 5,537 ton Portuguese liner wrecked on Bellows Rock, south of Cape Point on 18 April 1911
I have added an additional ref. --NJR_ZA (talk) 07:27, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Manor house[edit]

To the best of my knowledge there has never been a manorial system in South Africa. The description manor house seems inappropriate. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 04:05, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
