Alta California newspaper in CA

I saw a note on the Mifflin Wistar Gibbs article about his earlier newspaper, the Alta California (published in 1851 by Mifflin Wistar Gibbs, Jonas H. Townsend, W. H. Newby, and William H. Hall).
