Advertising?
[edit]Is it just me, or does this entire entry look like an ad? It sounds like this drink was invented just for one event to sell the bourbon. Linking to what reads like press releases isn't relly OK, is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.247.58.208 (talk) 08:42, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. It's just an advertisement and self promotion. Frankly, it at least informs the world they felt this kind of self promotion was necessary. 74.192.137.153 (talk) 04:46, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
No this is not an advertisement. I am having a Mitch right now. It real and it's not promoting any specific bourbon but bourbon itself. From an old T-Ride local returning to visit ole friends. 5/17/2013 woo pig sooie — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.87.136.26 (talk) 20:18, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

need to know more about technique
[edit]This article could be improved with direct instructions on the cocktail technique. Particularly: to what degree of done is the bacon cooked, then is it dried to remove excess fat (is there a fat slick on top of the bourbon); is the bourbon poured straight (that is, direct from bottle to glass, at shelf temperature); is the bacon added to the bourbon in the manner of a garnish ("plop"); or is the bourbon carefully poured along the length of the bacon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.136.128.130 (talk) 15:24, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
