Talk:Moszna Castle
This looks like a palace, not a castle. The Polish Wikipedia page labels it a palace. The tourism sites on the internet call it a castle. but I think that's mostly to attract tourists.
A palace is a nice place to live. A castle is a military fortification. Castles don't have tons of doors or windows on the first floor, and have defensive structures against armies. A palace might be designed to hold off thieves, or perhaps a small, angry mob, but that's all.
There was a trend for a while to make palaces architecturally inspired by castles, even with decorative crenellations (e.g. on random roofs; not functioning for defense). This seems to fall into that trend.
Random web site explaining that, despite the marketing, it's a palace: http://katiraf.com/zamek-moszna/
I guess it's okay to give the page either title, but the text ought to be clear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.17.150.215 (talk) 10:12, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
