Photos[edit]

I've put one phot of the track layout into the article, but its from a low elevation and a higher-up shot of the track would be more effective.

I have a good shot of the launch run, but won't upload that until the article expands to need it. I also have photos of how the restraint system works, but a photo of one of the trains shoud come first, so people know what they're looking at. -- saberwyn 07:25, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll work to expand it more, though I'm unsure why..... I don't know who Mick Doohan is, I've never been to the eastern or southern hemisphere's, much less Australia, nor am I a roller coaster junkie. But I'll expand. KV(Talk) 13:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Car description discreptancy[edit]

I found two different descriptions here: http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/yellowpages/coasters/motocoaster_dreamworld.shtml states that "Trains have eight cars with one row each, seating two abreast per row." while http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/article.php?aid=163 states "as well as two sidecar seats at the rear of each of the two trains that allow riders as short as 110cm (44") tall to ride with supervision. Riders must be 130cm (51") to ride in the other 14 motorcycle seats."

There seems to be disagreement with how this is set up, and perhaps someone else can make sense of it all. They do both agree, however, that the ride opened on 9/28 not 9/30, so I will change that.KV(Talk) 14:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From what I remember of the ride (went on it just after Christmas while on holiday), there are 16 seats, arranged two abreast (giving you your 8 car figure). 14 are bikes, which are ridden as one rides a motorbike. The last two sets are made up of one bike (left) and one sidecar (right), with the small rider in the sidecar, sitting in a conventional manner. A photo of the train would be good for illustration, but none of mine turned out. -- saberwyn 20:48, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
