advertising?

[edit]

This article sounds strongly like advertising to me. Aren't questions like "Why build a monastery like this?" inappropriate for an encyclopedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.67.214.14 (talk) 19:51, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Concur. It's more promotional than informative, and should be rewritten. - Jmabel | Talk 22:09, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracy

[edit]

"At 2,017 m, it is one of the five tallest peaks in China Proper." Since there are many points in Sichuan that are above 15,000 feet, and Sichuan is considered to be in China Proper, this statement seems to be untrue and I have removed it. -2001:558:6027:53:99B8:F1EA:7B8B:FD1B (talk) 03:55, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
