Confusing paragraph
[edit]"A study by Visayas State University (VSU) in Baybay City, Leyte [1] found many animal species listed by the World Conservation Union in the Red List of Threatened Animals (IUCN Red List). Species include: the Philippine tarsier, Philippine flying fox, Fischer’s pygmy fruit bat, eagle-owl, Philippine hawk-eagle, Rufous Lord kingfisher, Philippine leafbird and miniature tit-babbler and flying lemur."
I'm actually confused by this paragraph. Supposedly, this article is about the mountain and, taking a cue from the header, is supposed to be about the mountain, but after reading and re-reading it, I wasn't clear if all these animal species were endemic to this mountain. In other words, it wasn't established clear enough.
For this reason, I've tagged it for clean-up. Can additional/better references be incorporated on this article? Or, can this one be rewritten to better state what was intended to be meant here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Titopao (talk • contribs) 00:42, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- I added more authoritative sources on scientific studies in Philippines, funded by foreign funds, and this Mt. is really a habitat to these identified diverse and slightly distributed endangered and rare species.--Florentino floro (talk) 11:57, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
