Superfluous article
[edit]@Doremo: If the town and municipality are coterminous, then we don't need 2 articles (one for town and one for municipality) that basically say the exact same thing... -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 15:17, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- The articles overlap but are not redundant. The two entities have different names (among other things, the historical names Direzin, Tersain, etc. are inapplicable to or irrelevant for the municipality) and they have different histories; for example, the 17th- to 20th-century events involving the town have nothing to do with the municipality, and the 1998 establishment year of the municipality is not the establishment year of the town (thus the category "1998 establishments in Slovenia" would not be accurate in reference to the town). - A parallel example is Philadelphia and Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, which are coterminous but are treated by separate articles. Doremo (talk) 15:40, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- You convinced me. The changes made to the town and municipality articles make the distinction sufficiently clear. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 15:57, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
