Contested deletion
[edit]This person holds a knighthood, which is routinely held to confer notability, and has an entry in the UK version of Who's Who, which is not a vanity publication and is published by Oxford University Press. --Noswall59 (talk) 21:50, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

Sir Murdo was one of the most senior civil servants in British post war history. The account on the page is accurate. I can confirm this having worked alongside Sir Murdo for a number of years and know him personally. Whitehall Court (talk) 23:33, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
